A note from one of our Approved Contractors at Across The Pond
Ragland Topsoil & Landscaping
Owner: Adam Ragland.
Ragland Topsoil and Landscaping LLC was started in 2003 with some rakes, shovels and a small dump truck that was running about half the time.
Looking back on how we started this dream and to where it has grown to today, is really the dream that came true. I have been so blessed to be around the best teachers in the industry. Trevor was and still is one of the biggest reasons for our success even today.
When I began building retaining walls and learning this business, Trevor helped me to understand what type of business model and direction I should go. On many occasions, he would come out to the job sight and make sure I had not forgotten even the small details. 17 years later, I find myself meeting with him on some of the most challenging jobs that come from Across The Pond.
We pride ourselves in doing one project at a time and giving each client the personal relationship that does not exist in the construction industry. To me, its very simple; Be on time, hire skilled laborers, stay with the job until its finished and most importantly, exceed the customer’s expectations.
I have found the key to having repeat business, involves building a great relationship with my clients. There is no way possible to achieve this while running multiple job sites. We service all of Madison county and the Huntsville/Madison area.
From retaining walls, fire pits, patios of all shapes and sizes, drainage work, outdoor living spaces and more, RTL can handle pretty much what is thrown at us. We have 5 employees that love what they do and the company they work for. With two dump trucks, two skid steers, one excavator and a host of other cool tools, there is not a project that has beat us yet. I’m honored to be a preferred contractor for ATP and to call Trevor, Hank, Tony and the entire staff friends.
As our wonderful county and city is growing at a rapid speed, be sure to hire a contractor that will not rush through your project to get to the next project. Sometimes, with best intentions, contractors get themselves in a bind by not communicating once the project starts. Make sure you hire not only a qualified company, but a company that will communicate and be proactive from the very first phone call. I am not only the owner, but you will also see me working on the job as well. Please feel free to reach out to me and I would be honored to share my thoughts and experience with you. Thanks again to Trevor and the ATP family for giving our community and our projects the best materials on the market today.
Sincerely,
Adam Ragland
